This policy explains what personal data Pancake Tech collects through this website, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
What we collect
Contact requests: the name, email, optional company, preferred date and time, and the description you send through the meeting form. Chat assistant: the messages you type into the chat widget. They are sent to our AI provider to generate a reply and are stored in your browser so the conversation survives a refresh. You can clear them at any time from the chat header. Technical data: standard server logs such as IP address, browser and pages requested, kept for security and reliability.
Why we use it
To reply to your enquiry, to run a call, to draft an offer, to deliver an engagement, and to keep the site secure. We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising.
Legal basis
We rely on your consent for optional cookies and on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and operating the site. Where an engagement is agreed, we also process data to perform that contract.
Sharing
We use a small number of processors: hosting, email delivery, and the AI provider that powers the chat assistant. They act on our instructions and only for the purposes above.
Retention
Enquiries are kept for up to 24 months unless they become an engagement, in which case they are kept for the life of the contract plus the period required by tax and accounting rules.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to processing, or withdraw consent. Write to us and we will respond within 30 days. Marketing email always carries an unsubscribe link. Invoices, offers and signature requests do not, because they are part of an agreement rather than marketing.
